2006 Summer Season Kick-Off : May 3rd

 The Roush Automotive Collection announces an exciting 2006 Schedule of Events. Open-House Cruise-in events will be held monthly from May thru September at our Livonia, MI facility. The first event will be held on May 3rd (Wednesday) and will feature our highly anticipated JR’s Garage Sale. The doors will be open for the sale from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm. This major spring clearance sale will feature deep discounts on a wide variety of Roush and Roush Racing apparel and merchandise.
Cruisers are invited to bring their classic and special interest vehicles for display. The cruise-in will officially begin at 5:00 pm and will run until 8:00 pm. Register for a chance at our door prize give-away and receive an 8” Roush Racing decal. Drawings will be held at 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30. Contestants must be present to win.
A two man crew from the Roush Engine Build Department will demonstrate a complete engine build-up, including a live test run upon completion. The Roush Mobile Dynamometer will be available for those guests who would like to receive real performance data on their vehicles. Three power runs will be performed for a modest fee of $75.00 per vehicle.
 AAA, sponsor of the Mark Martin Ford Fusion race car, will have their race car simulator and show car on hand for guests to enjoy. The two-seated simulator allows for exciting side-by-side competition on Daytona Speedway. Guests will also be invited to participate in our first ever Spark Plug Change Challenge. The winner of the Spark Plug Competition will receive an autographed limited edition 1:18 scale Roush Performance Products Stage 3 Mustang die cast car.
Guests will be able to satisfy their appetite at the JR’s Garage Filling Station. The cruise-in event menu, provided by Roger’s Catering, will feature a delectable selection of Italian favorites including meatball and Italian sausage subs, pasta entrees, and a variety of salads. The Filling Station will open for service from 5:00pm until close.
