2009 Fall Clearance Sale: September 10th

The Roush Automotive Collection is pleased to announce the last Open House event scheduled for the 2009 summer season to be held on Thursday September 10th 2009. This Open House event will feature a Silent Auction, Pinewood Derby Test Track, WRIF Car Show, Engine Build Demonstration, Door Prizes, and our annual Fall Clearance Sale.
The Roush Collection will be holding a Silent Auction starting at 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Some of the items that will be up for auction include: an Autographed Carl Edwards Driver Suit, Carl Edwards and Matt Kenseth Autographed Window Nets and Dash Panels, and a Roush Racing Autographed Flag signed by Biffle, Braun, Darnell, Edwards, Kenseth, McMurray, Ragan and Jack Roush.
A Two-Lane Pinewood Derby Track will be available during the Open House to race your already made Pinewood Derby Cars. There will be no competition or awards just a good time and the opportunity to show off your hard work.
Detroit’s 101 the WRIF will be hosting a car show during our September Open House. Trophies are sponsored by Autoweek. Cruisers are invited to bring their classic and special interest vehicles for a chance to win one of these unique trophies. The car show will officially begin at 5:00 pm and will run until 8:00 pm. Walk-ins are welcome the day of the event. If you would like to pre-register for the car show please visit WWW.WRIF.COM and sign up to become a CyberCrew member and join the WRIF Muscle Car Club. There is no charge to join and registration for the car show is free.
Sign up to tour the ROUSH Performance Facility which is separate from the ROUSH Collection Museum. Shuttles leave from the ROUSH Collection to transport guests to the ROUSH Performance Facility where they can see firsthand what goes into producing a ROUSH Mustang. Tours will be held at 10:00 am and 12:00 pm. Limited seating is available; to ensure your place on the shuttle please Pre-Register by calling 734-779-7290.
A two man crew from the ROUSH Engine Build Department will demonstrate a complete engine build-up, including a live test run upon completion. Guests can satisfy their appetite at the J.R.’s Garage Filling Station. Hamburgers, hot dogs and other cruise-in favorites are on the menu.
During the Open House, register for a chance at our door prize give-away. Drawings will be held at 5:30 pm, 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm. Contestants must be present to win. Door prize give-aways include a chance to win a Roush Racing Travel Mug and Hat, an Autographed ROUSH Mustang 1:18 Scale Die-cast, a 3M Car Care Gift Basket and a separate drawing for kids only for a 1:24 Scale Aflac Pitstop Die-cast with a Roush Racing 4”x 6” notebook with pencil.
The Fall Clearance Sale starts at 10:00 am and runs until 8:00 pm. This end of the season sale will feature great deals on a variety of ROUSH and ROUSH Racing apparel and merchandise. During this sale a large selection of our regularly priced t-shirts will be Buy 1 Get 1 Half Off*. Offer may not be combined with any other discounts. Valid on in store purchases only at the Roush Collection Retail Store (no phone orders). *the 50% Off will be taken from the shirt of equal or lesser value. Treasure hunters will find race car body panels from the NASCAR series Roush Fenway teams of Carl Edwards, Matt Kenseth, Jamie McMurray, Greg Biffle, and David Ragan. Race driven tires from these Roush Fenway teams will also be available for purchase for only twenty dollars each!
