Racing Autograph Session

The Roush Automotive Collection is pleased to announce the second Open House event scheduled for the 2006 summer season to be held on Thursday June 15th from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Activities planned for the Open House event include a Roush Racing autograph session, AAA race car simulator, Roush Performance vehicles and parts displays, engine build demonstration, the Roush Mobile Dynamometer, and Rock’s Gang live band.
NASCAR Nextel cup Series race car drivers Mark Martin, Matt Kenseth and Greg Biffle along with NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series drivers Eric Darnell, David Ragan, and Michel Jourdain will be on hand to meet fans and sign autographs from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. AAA, sponsor of the Mark Martin
Ford Fusion race car, will return with their race car simulator featuring exciting side-by-side competition on Daytona Speedway.
Roush Performance will have a strong presence during the Open House event. Drag race fans can check out vehicles used by the five-car Roush team for the research and development of a new line of Competition Parts scheduled to be released soon. Automotive enthusiasts should be sure to visit the Roush crate engine display featuring monster engines capable of producing more that 1000 horsepower. Visitors will also have the opportunity to view the brand-new Roush Stage 3 Mustang and Stage 3 F-150 up close.
A two man crew from the Roush Engine Build Department will demonstrate a complete engine build-up, including a live test run upon completion. The Roush Mobile Dynamometer will be available for those guests who would like to receive performance data on their vehicles. Three power runs will be performed for a modest fee of $75.00 per vehicle.
A series of door prize drawings will be held throughout the evening. Door prize give-aways will include a pair of MIS Grandstand seat tickets for the 3M Performance 400 on June 18th, 2006. Additional door prize give-aways will include a variety of Roush Racing memorabilia.
Rock’s Gang, a 50’s style six member band, will entertain guests with their high energy brand of humor and classic rock n’ roll. Guests will be able to satisfy their appetite at the J.R.’s Garage Filling Station. Hamburgers, hot dogs and other cruise-in favorites will be on the menu.
Parking and shuttle service to the Roush Automotive Collection will be available at Madonna University located on the north-west corner of Levan Rd. and Schoolcraft (I-96) in Livonia. Shuttle service will begin at 2:00 p.m. and will run until 8:30 p.m.
